Hi everyone! I know this question has come up before but I'm going to ask once again.

Our first cruise I had no trouble dressing my girls but now that they are older since the last cruise I just realized I may have a problem. My 10 y/o daughter has turned into a capris jeans and t-shirt type of girl. I realized last night that's all we're packing her and now what am I to do on the two fancy dinners? She does have a dress she can wear for the formal dinner but can she wear her capris jeans and a long sweater for the semi-formal dinner? All the pants are nice and pretty new.

Thanks everyone!!!

Technically you can wear whatever you want - they don't turn people away from the regular dining room for attire. While I'm a big believer in following the suggested attire, if you're too late to pick up a sundress for her I wouldn't worry about it.

Since she likes capri's why not get her a pair of black goucho's - she can put a nicer top with it and still be comfortable. Cute sandals will be fine. That is what my DD 12 worn several nights on the cruise.

That is a GREAT idea!! I hadn't thought about the goucho pants, they will work out great! Thanks for the great ideas ladies I appreciate it.
