Hello, so for my next Disney Trip I am going to be alone at the GF for just a while...any reccomendations on where I should eat at the GF, anything that is good for dining alone??? Let me know...thank you.

I think the GF Cafe would be nice - it's a great relaxed atmosphere and you can people watch out the big windows.

Citricos is just delicious and I wouldn't feel odd dining there alone, either.

Just up the monorail would be Kona, a great place to dine solo. Ask to sit near the lobby so you can people watch there, too.

Can you tell I love to people watch? ;)

I love to people watch as well....you gave me a great idea to ride the moni to the poly....thanks

How about any of the places where you're seated family style-- I think the Biergarten in Epcot is one. You'll be seated with other people and be part of the party.

I would never feel lonely at Citrico's for single dining, they are that attentive.

Brown Derby, has small tables and I would love people watching there.

I would, if I were dining alone, go where I can people watch.. unless you would prefer quiet and to read a book while dining as I know some do...

I read on the solo/adult board that Jiko and flying dish are good because they have the eating area/bar that is part of the kitchen and the chefs will interact with you. They arent the GF but if you are looking for a good exierance

Is this for dinner? If so, I'd take the monorail over to the california grill and sit at the counter. It overlooks the kitchen and there are reports that the chefs like to slip samples to the customers there.

When I was at WDW alone, I went to restaurants that have some entertainment, like 50 PTC and Coral Reef.
Other than that, I don't mind sitting alone in whatever restaurant, I read a bit, people watched and made notes for the trip report I never wrote :)

They all sounds like great ideas, I know i will be dining alone for lunch, because my family will be in the planning session for my sisters wedding..So i Opted to hang out by the pool and read..But i wanted to eat lunch in the area and since I will be alone i wanted some reccomendations...I dont think I will head to the park for lunch BUT i will probably eat at the gf or poly..OR maybe take the moni to contemp and eat somewhere there...Im kinda excited to be alone...

Ya know when your always going to disney with a group its hard to do the exact things you want and that day I will get to do just that!
