Dings?

What is a DING? I seen something about it on Southwest website. People keep talking about Dings and I thought it was an airline in the east I had never heard of, I am begining to think that is wrong

DING is a Southwest airline special. You install a small program on your computer and when Southwest puts out a "DING" special, you are notified on your desktop. Usually these specials last for a few hours and are on specific flights to specific cities for certain dates. This morning I confirmed a $33 one way DING fare from Nashville to Orlando for our trip in September! YEAH! I had booked it yesterday at $49 one way, so I cancelled and rebooked with the DING fare, so now I have a credit.
