Ding & southwest itineraries

I booked a great DING fare on the 4th, my first one, but was told by customer service that it cannot be viewed in my itineraries because it is a seperate application. Is this correct? There is no way to add a flight after it has been booked if you are not logged in at the time??? Which to my understanding, you cannot be if booking a DING????

I used a DING for my airfare for WDW a few months ago, and my itinerary shows up on my account.
When you book a Ding, you can log on before you complete your transaction. I wanted to make sure I was so I got credit. Now, when I check the Dings, my page comes up with my acct. number on it, so I can just book it from there.
If you aren't logged on, with your acct. number, whether or not it's a Ding fare, it won't show up on your itineraries.
