OK I just installed the DING software from Southwest hoping to get a cheap flight from Baltimore to Orlando in February. We are going first week in Feb. Anyone know if I should expect a "DING" for this route.

Also, If I book now for the $79.00 flight that are avialble for our flights it will cost us 707.00. Now what happens if a DING comes in closer to my trip and I want to book the cheaper flights. Will SWA refund me or at least provide a credit for future flights. Anyone know?

Also what happens if I book a DING flight and have to change the flight hour or day? Can I do that? Can I just pay the fare difference for the Un Dinged flights?

Any enlightenment would be appreciated :confused3

Hi, The only suggestion I would have for you is to book each leg of the trip separately. It is much easier to change a flight that way. They are very good about giving credit for flights. You may get a ding fare you may not, you never know.I think it depends on how busy that route is for that period of time you are going. Good luck!

With Southwest If lower fares come cancel higher and book lower. They will give you credit. :Pinkbounc

Do you know if the credit is to use on another date on SW or if it is $ back? Also, is there a way you can just change your current reservation?
Thanks - we were just talking about the same thing!
