Hi
I have actually done this twice and we loved it.The food is great and you get a special performance from shamu and a talk from the trainers. They also come around and answer any questions you want answererd. It is about 16.45 when you go in for the meal.Your drinks are included as well.My DD4 loved this and if you book ask for a table near the front.Wherever you sit the view is great. As it was our honeymoon we had a great table right in the middle and had a shamu cake bought out at the end.
Well worth the money.
We enjoyed it and it is lovely seeing the whales so close whilst you are eating. You also have reserved places for the show afterwards so you dont feel rushed.
We did it on our last trip and it was very enjoyable and worth the money. The food was very good and the Whale swims right next to your table. The kids thought it was great!Would recommend it.
So glad I saw this thread! We were trying to decide what to do for my daughters bd and have now booked for dinner with Shamu! Do you think they will be able to do a cake or something if I ask?
It's something I am considering for my next trip. There will be 4 adults and 2 pre-teens. The kids arent fussy (unless there in a mood and if they are in a mood nothing will do!) and but we have one vegetarian
The food is the usual American Buffet Fare and all you can eat, the first time we went (when it first opened) there were less guests and tables, the last time we went they have put in a lot more tables, its still good, but we were spoilt from our first visit.
Give it a go, you do get close to the whales (if your tables next to the wall) and reserved seating for the Shamu Show.
