If you've been to either of these or both, can you give me your input on which is better?

We will only be at Sea World for half a day, so don't think I'll have time to do both. It's just my hubby and I, no kids ;)

How many hours will you be there that afternoon? Is your focus on exhibits, rides or shows? What time does the park close that day? If your time is very limited, I'm not sure I'd do either. DWS has one set time, so that might knock you out of some shows you might want to see. SUG will give you a more lenient time schedule, but you won't be able to make reservations until you are in the park.

I haven't done the DWS but we did do SUG. To me the food at sharks was geared more for a dinner time meal. It was too much for us at lunch. We did like the atmosphere and the food was good.

We'll probably get there around noon; park is open until 6pm that day (Nov 10, so I'm hoping it's pretty quiet). We are mostly focusing on rides, would like to see one show and maybe one exhibit (headed to DC the next day so we'll see plenty of aquatic life there ;))

The DWS show is at 5:30 the day we're going, so it could be a nice way to end the day

we did dws and enjoyed it more than coral reef (we don't eat seafood) however it was really really slow and it wasn't busy as we were there in september. it took a long time and really cut into our day but it was cool to do once.

Can you comment a bit more on what was "slow". Did your dining time start at 5:30? What time did you arrive to dine? When were you served food? What time were you done and ready to leave?

I find sit down dinners sometimes try my patience. I really want to just eat and go. LOL.

With your hours and 6pm close, I'd do DWS at 5:30. ::yes:: Did you see they've reduced the price? I don't know how long that is good for, but I'd reserve soon if that is your plan! Enjoy!
