Dine with an Animal Expert dinner?

My fiancé and I are going to Disney World June 11-20 for our honeymoon and I recently heard about the Dine with an Animal Expert. I enlisted the help of our wonderful Dreams Unlimited travel agent to help me book this experience as I’m totally overwhelmed with wedding planning, work, and school. She booked it for our Animal Kingdom day, Thursday, June 14 and the reservation shows up as a 5:05 Sanaa Dinner on MDE.

Dinner happens to work best with our schedule that day, but I wan under the initial impression that it was a lunch experience. Are they doing dinner now? Do I need to call and check with Disney or rebook? I wou.d totally hate to get there expecting this totally cool experience only to find out it is just a dinner reservation.

I would definitely check - I also thought it was a lunch, and believed it was only offered on Wed and Sat, but I could be wrong - was trying to do it w/my DD who wants to be a vet and it didn't work well with our schedule on a short trip, so we ended up doing Caring for Giants tour since it was only an hour and inside the park - awesome BTW! Hope it works out for you! Have a wonderful Disneymoon!

I called Disney this morning and we were only booked for dinner at Sanaa. I did keep the Sanaa reservation in case we do decide to eat there (we love Indian food), but the days of the week for the Dine with an Animal Expert didn’t work with our schedule so I booked the Caring for Giants tour instead. I’m super excited because elephants are my favorite!

We are going to do the same tour. Our DD Loves elephants and we can't wait to do Caring for Giants. We did the Dine with an Imagineer at the Brown Derby one year - and it was wonderful. I bet we would enjoy Dine with an Animal Expert. Enjoy.

What is the current price of the Dine with an Imagineer lunch? We've done it before and really liked it and as it turns out, Wednesday will be a non-park day for us AND we are staying at AKV.

You will love it! I took soooo many pics! Bonus that we found out the fee all goes to conservation. Now I wish they had one for giraffes!
