NO dont run away god im so sick of ppl scarying ppl off the plan is fine no its not like wdw plan but it works an we do them each time we go. I love it an yes some have charcter meals included.

Jade ~ if everyone but you says it's a bad idea who do you think is in the wrong?? You're welcome to use it if you choose to but for most of "us" we've looked at it and know it isn't worth it

That's a little harsh. I think if the plan works for someone, good show. If not, then don't use it. It works for us sometimes and sometimes it's not worth it, just depends on what I'm looking for.

I think what I quoted of Jade at the top is a just as harsh I get offended by seeing/hearing the Lord's name used in vain.

Ryansdad, I think the important thing to stress to you is that you aren't saving money if you buy the dining plan. If you pay for the vouchers, you are paying face value for them (i.e., you are paying $5.00 for a $5.00 voucher). You're not getting any type of discount. It's no different than having a pre-loaded gift card that you intend to spend on dining. Actually, having a gift card is better, because the if you use less than the value of the voucher, you do not receive change. This means if you use a $5.00 voucher to buy a $4.00 snack, you do not get your $1.00 back. This is the main reason so many of us are against the dining plan. Now, it is true that you won't lose money if you use the full value of the voucher, say if you buy a $6.00 snack, you use a $5.00 voucher and pay an extra $1.00, but then you still have to pay out of pocket anyway, which is exactly what people hope to avoid by getting a dining plan.

The dining plan at Disneyland just doesn't make financial sense.

there is no 5 voucher there is 10 15 an snacks. the snack is 6.50 worth an yes you have to know how to spend it to not lose money I guess ive just figguered it out is all. I still say there good this time we want two prem charcter meals but only get one in the package we are desiedign to go with so we will pay out pocket for the ones we want. an actuely yes you save money because the charcter meals cost a lot an if you add it all up you do save money on the charcter emals goingwith the dining packages.
