I don't often get to have dim sum. What's the quality like at Nine Dragons at Epcot? I was thinking of lunch there in April.

Thanks,

penny

Oh wow, I didn't know they'd have that! Yummy! I'd love to know!:teeth: :teeth:

I think it is relatively new, maybe something they are trying out. It seems like a good way to have a relaxing sit-down but light lunch and then find some good desserts along the way afterward. I'm thinking rice cream. Yum!

Anybody tried that dim sum out there???

Does anyone know where to find a menu for the dim sums? I looked at some of the menus but they just mentioned that they had dim sums. On our last trip to WDW 2 years ago my finance had these shrimp dim sums at the Coral Reef. He still raves about them. It seems that they are no longer on the menu at the Coral Reef, that I could see anyway. I am trying to find a place that might have them. Any ideas?
:D

Emilymad,

Check out www.allearsnet.com for a complete list of WDW menus. I think the Nine Dragons one is up-to-date.

Now if someone out there can tell us how the quality is we will be all set!

Enjoy perusing the menus!

I have just gotteninto Dim Sum the last year. Last May I wanted to try Nine dragons for the first time but being alone I didn't want a huge plate of one kind of item and they had ended their all you can eat lunch so I ordered dim sum. I don't remember what I had but it was all good. I though the Won Ton Soup was a bit bland but other than that everything was real good.

penny - check out passporter.com, in their last newsletter there was a review of the new menu at Nine Dragons, including dim sum. I think there is a link to this review on the first page of the site!!

p.s. Just checked, on the first page under "What's New With Passporter" there is a link in blue, third paragraph, "Read our latest newsletter..." - hope this helps!!

Way to go, K&A&C's mom!

That was a great review and just perfect information about the dim sum experience at Nine Dragons. When I got the Passporter newsletter, I wasn't thinking immediate trip but due to my thoughtful husband, I am going in late April. Yea, yea, yea!

The photos look lovely and the food sounds good so I think that cinches it for me. I'll be making a PS tomorrow. Dim Sum won't be quite as good alone but it sounds like a relaxing meal that is worth a try.

Thanks so much!

Glad to be of assistance!! After reading Dave's review we are trying to find a way to add this rest. to our schedule for April!;) So many restaurants, so little time!!::yes::

:D very good Dim Sum:D

My husband and I had lunch there this past December and we really enjoyed it. They had quite a good selection and the food was very fresh! This is now a must do for us for lunch. Enjoy!!!
