I cant even believe I am considering this but.....

We have booked our room and airfare (not both through Disney, just room) and here I am thinking that it would be great to extend our trip by a day or two more. Well adding the night(s) to our ressies is no problem. It's the air travel. I have booked our flight home with USAirways and it is $100 change fee per ticket. That would be $300. Tell me I am crazy....but I really think we would enjoy the extra days.

Feedback.

I love Disney but I think your crazy...too much money for me...if it was free or like $50 maybe.

When you are talking the total cost of a Dis vacation, I don't think $300 is that much when you look at the larger picture...it's alot cheaper then a 2nd trip! How often do you get the chance to to to WDW...I say go for it!:cool1:

Yeah... that's the thing too. As DS (8) gets on in school it will be harder and harder to get away in some of the non-prime time. I actually have the blessing of his teacher. She said she will be sure catch him up (if need be) when he returns. Realistically it could be a different phase of his life before we return again!

If you can afford the extra money, I say go for it! If the $300 means you won't be able to eat while you're at Disney, well that's a different story :P

I hate feeling rushed in the parks, so having a few extra days will probably make the trip more relaxing. Also, as people already mentioned, you never know when you'll get this opportunity again!

I don't think I would do it. $300 is the cost of 1-2 plane tickets for your next vacation, or the price of a car rental or a day or two of meals. I know you don't know when you are going to be able to do this again, but if you are anything like me you won't be happy unless you are planning another trip the minute you get back. That $300 will get you started.
Have a great trip.

Ouch! $100 per ticket to change? Remind me never to fly with them! Wow! But with that said, I would probably bite the bullet and extend the vacation. It is a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things. More days, more fun...go for it!:cool1:
