Dilemma

O.k. I am at work and I really need to pee. I never should have stopped on the way back from lunch and bought "The Big 32" of Diet Pepsi from Cumberland Farms.

Anyway, the bathroom door is closed. I work in a small office, and I don't see anyone un-accounted for, so I don't think anyone is in there, but I don't want to look stupid by knocking on the door if someone is in there.

My head says no, my bladder says yes. What would you do?

Better to look stupid by knocking instead of looking stupid for walking in on someone. If someone answers, just say "sorry, just checking!"

Update - I couldn't hold it long enough to wait for your infinite wisdom on my dilemma, so I ventured over to the bathroom.

There is a sticky note on the door that says "Stay Out!" Apparently the toilet is not "feeling very well." Someone is supposed to be coming out to fix it.

So, I had to use the men's room. I am not a germaphobe by any means, but I really feel like I now need to disinfect my butt.

Any suggestions on that one? I should have just used the cup!

Yeah - I'm no germophobe, but even I don't like using the toilet after my husband has used it. Well, the good news is that most of the men probably didn't sit on the toilet. Just be thankful you didn't lift the lid to see what was lurking underneath there.

Update!

It appears that the woman in the office next to us clogged the toilet. She has since unclogged it, and all is well. Thank goodness, because after I drank the Diet Pepsi, I started on a 24 oz Propel.

Why is it that the men always get blamed for the disgusting toilet seat? I once worked in a movie theatre and let me tell you the things you saw when cleaning the ladies room would leave you speechless! I would take cleaning a mens room any day after seeing a public womens rest room.

Well, I know for a fact it is not the case here. I clean the women's bathroom myself (we are a really small office), it's clean. The men's room is just disgusting!

But I have seen some incredibly disgusting things in a women'e restroom before, too!
