Seeing all this digital software intrigues me.

I have read the FAQ and looked at people's work.

But I have yet to find software that is cheap enough to buy.
What is the best and the cheapest???

Best and cheapest is different for everyone. Also depends on what you consider cheap. You can search around Google and local stores for older versions of the popular software and find them super cheap. Many scanners and printers come with Photoshop Elements, so that would be free, if you needed new hardware. Of the top 3, Paint Shop Pro will probably be cheapest. I've even heard of old versions being included on those disks that come with computer magazines, so it would cost $5-10. If you do some research and keep your eyes open, you may find a great deal. I got mine at Best Buy and they had a huge rebate, so I ended up paying about $25-30 for my Paint Shop Pro X, when it was the latest version.

I am really enjoying learning digi scrapping with the Creative memories Storybook Plus program. It does a lot of great things and is $60.
