There's a boutique board on the DIS???? OMG -- all I need is another reason to hang out on here, LOL!! I bought DD2 a couple boutique style outfits on Ebay for our cruise... it was fun to deck her out in Minnie Mouse frilly, lacy things... LOL! I don't know if she'll let me get away with that in a couple years!

Christy - cute Buzz LO! I've still gotta do mine, and you're giving me ideas....

I wish that I could take credit for the wand here ... but it wouldn't work, especially with her hair. I used the custom cutter instead, which I use for about 75% of my cutouts. The wand works well sometimes, but not all of the time. The background has to be just right, or else it's a disaster!

I am stucketh on this pageth.

I've been scrapping so much lately that I'm stuck in a rut. I want to do something fun with this, but after a couple of hours of messing around with it, I can't think of anything innovative to do.

So, anyone wanna help me? The only element that I want to keep in place is the sun. The photos, stamp,title & journaling must stay, but anything else goes, if necessary.

What would you do if this was your LO?

If it were me I'd move the journaling to where 'the call of the wild' is and move the title down.. Maybe make the tickets and program a little bigger and add staples. I'd skip the 'call of the wild' since you already have a title and journaling. Great colors and pics!

What would you do if this was your LO?

Well... your journaling is lousy! LOL

I like the photo arrangement. Maybe make the title on one line and bring it over to the right more, either over the bug or move the bug. That should do the trick and bring balance to the LO. And then put in real journaling.

Hi Caits -- We ended up getting the mixed package A which included 5 6x8 photos and 8 8x10 photos for $169... Then I think on the last day I ended up buying two more 6x8s that I just couldn't live without for $9.95 each.... We ended up spending more than we planned on pics... but I don't regret it.

Hypermommy - I feel your pain! I'd most likely call a character by a wrong name and not even know it. I figure that's what we have kids for - to be our brains when ours fail!

Christy - Your pages never cease to amaze me!


And thanks for all of your comments on my LO. I had fun with the photo arrangement, borrowing the wacky frame idea from many LOs that I've seen posted on here. I've not done anything like that before, so it was fun to see it come out.

And Fran98765, just for you, I rewrote all of the wonderfully creative and original journaling that I had there before. [sigh] But I still can't see why you didn't like what I wrote before. Oh well... we aim to please.

Anyway, here's the completed page:

Oops - I forgot the credits! The page & stickers are from CM's Jewel Summer Power Palette addition, and the other embellishments I borrowed from other CM page themes. The type is Island of Misfit Toys and the journaling is Diogenes. The Title I scanned from the newspaper ad & colorized.

I did two MORE pirate layouts last night. I realized I just wasn't finished with that darn Pirate & Princess party yet! I think I"m finally ready to move on to the next day of that trip now! I haven't been doing many challenges lately, because I just want to finish this book and sometimes the challenges don't fit with what I NEED to do for my pages, KWIM? Hopefully soon I'll be back to the challenges! I think I might be able to do this week's -- Epcot pictures are up next! Anyway, here are the final two pirate LO's, all with britt's stuff of course! (I got my $$ worth out of those kits for sure!!) I also included some scanned memorabilia, too.
