Did that make ANY sense??

I think it does, but I'll have to try it tomorrow after work. I need to get to bed and I have a feeling this will take me a little while to figure out. Thanks for the info, hopefully I"ll get it figured out soon!

Ok, so I just bought me a laptop (mainly for scrapbooking) - :cool1:

Now. . . I was using Microsoft Digital Image Pro on my desktop (and I REALLY like it), but I don't think I can use it with Vista, so I downloaded the Corel PSP Photo x2 trial . . . and I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo confused!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand ANYTHING!!! All the layers and whatever - it's so different from Digital Image Pro. Anyway, I got tired of messing around with it, so I decided to take a break and share my frustrations. I think I need to go to bed now and start again tomorrow night.
Goodnight!

Mel, sorry to hear about that!! (But, congrats on the new laptop!!) I can't help, as i don't know Corel at all.. i use Photoshop Elements - which you can also get a free trial at www.adobe.com There will be a learning curve with any new program, but if you play for a bit you'll get the hang of it!! Promise!!

Not sure if it was in this post or in another digital thread, but some were wanting more links to freebies, not Disney related. Since I had a basic list, I am adding it to the FAQ thread. It's by no means complete, I will add more sites another day... probably tomorrow! :)

Finally got time to scrap with my own "We Can Fly" mini-kit!! haha

I made this kit especially for my nephew Matthew! :) Well, and you DIS Digi-Scrappers too of course. But with Matthew in mind the whole time!

Very cute Britt!! Tell your nephew we appreciate his inspiring you for that kit!! :)

One of the most unique monuments at Gettysburg is for the Irish Brigade. The monument honors the three New York regiments that were apart of the Irish Brigade. The main part of the monument is in the traditional symbol of Ireland, the Celtic Cross. At the bottom is a life size Irish Wolfhound. This represents faith and devotion. When the Irish Brigade entered the battle of Gettysburg on July 2nd there were only 530 men and would suffere 214 casualties during the battle.

It was difficult to get good photos since the sun was behind it. I've decided that the next time we go to Gettysburg to tour it backwards to avoid having the sun behind the monuments.

Ok, here's my take on that template for Britt's SM challenge. It's our drive down to WDW last fall.

Last evening I was glancing at LO (which again are wonderful!) and I noticed one that was done of Goofy. I wanted to ask where the kit was from, but didn't have time. Today, I have searched for it here and on the challange thread, but can't find it. Am I losing my mind? Does anyone remember seeing it? It was a picture of children with Goofy. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure she scanned and extracted stickers for that.

I made a brush! This is so exciting. I decided to move this over to this thread so that our challenge thread won't get too long with technical stuff instead of LO postings. Thanks again for the link on how to do this!

Britt, as you could probably tell from the other site, I figured out how to add the actions I downloaded just to find out they don't all work with PSE6. Thanks for the effort!

Layouts are awesome ladies! I am getting so many ideas from you all.

I have PSE 5,and i don't think i can use any actions with that--- does anyone know? That kinda stinks.. :(

Yes you can use actions with PSE 5.0. I use the ones from Atomic Cupcake all the time. Just make sure you download the ones for PSE and not PS.
Amanda

Ok, so how do i load them into PSE5?? I know how to load my brushes, and my styles, but i don't see a folder to load actions in... ??
