Your second ever digital page and my second ever LO seeing this kit in action! It looks pretty good if I don't say so myself! HAHA! No, but this page is GREAT. Love your symetrical arrangement. I've never heard of this event (I'm not that familiar with WDW, I'm a DL girl). This looks amazing!!!

You guys are making me want to go on a Disney Cruise soooooo bad!!!! This page ROCKS. I seriously LOVE it! all the pics are so fun!!

Pooh46- I was very excited to see your layout. I head to my first ever Garden and Flower show in 11 days! From your pictures, I now know I'm in for a treat! Beautiful! I can't wait to see those topiaries- Peter Pan is my all time favorite movie........ And your layout does it much justice!

I love this! I'm still working on my 2005 cruise album and we are going on another cruise in June.

I feel your pain! I, too, have problems putting many items on a page. I see other people's layouts and I just love all of the elements they have used, but when it comes to doing my own, I don't seem to be able to figure out what to use or where to put it!

I struggle with this too. But that's what I like about digital - I can play with things until I like it and nothing is glued down.

Ok, I was able to get to it sooner than I thought. I should be working right now, but thats no fun. Here are a couple from arriving at the dock. The kits are Glenda Ketcham's.

This one is great too! I have this kit and have used it for a couple of pages.

Ok, where is everyone today?? No one's scrapping?? Here is my first one for today:
I shot this pic of my dd running after Goofy, and it just turned out to be one of my fav pics from the cruise -- it was just so unplanned, Goofy just happened to stroll by us on New Years Eve, and my dd saw him and turned and bolted after him.. as he was rushing to get to his show! I just love that pic!

Wow, great minds think alike! I just suggested the same thing to Britt when I sent her my show-off for this week! I really want to do a Disney cruise, but I want to wait until 2010 when DS is five. I hope I can hold out that long!!

BTW, love that page! How did you get it to look like that start paper was on the back of the red Mickey head paper? That looks so cool! What a great picture of your DD! (she's an only, right? My son is, too!)

Strega- Laughing when I saw your Embarkation layout. We have those same shirts! All in dark blue (That was for our 2006 trip) and then for our cruise the kids got the newer version of that shirt. I'll have to go upload that layout to photobucket to share. We went with another family so I have to blur out their kids....

Now, to get my kids to bed so maybe I can scrap another layout before I go to bed!

Question for those of you who have been doing this for a while... How do you decide which elements and pics to put the shadow behind? I've been playing with some of my pages, and it kind of seems like most things look better with the drop shadow.... Now it seems like I am going crazy with the shadows.... Is there a general rule of thumb, or do you just kind of use trial and error?

I shadow everything except for writing that supposed to looked blended into the paper. You want to use smaller shadows for things that would be close to the paper and slightly bigger ones for think that would 'stick out,' like flowers, beads etc.

Yup, dd is a spoiled only! And i love it that way. If i were you -- i would wait til 2011, or 2012 when the brand new ships are scheduled to be released.. i definately plan on doing another cruise then!!! As my MIL says - "Have passport, Will travel"!

As for my lo -- the template is set up to do that - show the other paper! Easy as that! I love Jen's templates - she sells at scrapbookgraphics.com

I was one of the lucky ones to get seats to this concert, and it was my dd's first concert, which made it all the more special -- and i will admit, i am a fan myself, so i was pretty excited! We had GREAT seats - only about 12 rows from the side of the stage!

Oh my DD would be SO jealous! She sold out here in 15mins. My sister took her to see the 3D concert movie though, so she was happy.
