Of course, it will take me at least another week to think of a different topic, so I'll volunteer a another time.

Thank you! The paper is in Britt's Shiver Me Timbers, I just squished it a little to make it more square. Almost everything is from that kit with a couple things like the mickey ears and brad from her freebie Tell No Tales.

Okay, I'm definitely going to have to pick that up. I presume it's available at SM? Anyone else having trouble getting to SM this morning? I've been on there all morning (at least for the past few hours) and now I can't get back to it. I'm guessing everybody and their sister is hitting the site today.

But I have gotten a few challenges done. Here they are:

The first was done for the quote challenge I found this morning over on SM. I just know I'm going to cry every time I read the border on that one.

This one was for a template challenge over on SM (which I believe was being run by Britt but I'm getting lost in the challenges I'm doing. But it sure gets my scrapping mojo going and I'll have a lot of our cruise scrapped by the end of the day)

Credits: ald_grungetemplate picked up from SM. There's no TOU, though, so I don't know what designer to give credit to.

Finally there was the one done for the SM OZ challenge

Boy I'm sure having a great time with all these challenges on SM today!!!

I haven't found a moment to actually sit and scrap for any of the national scrap day challenges; the children are being clingy today. At least I hope I can buy some kits after they go to bed tonight. Thanks for the link to the $1 kits Stenogoddess! $1 kits are great when for a beginner like me.

Anyway, Jessica -- I like the big red/orange Mickey heads. I assume you made 2 Mickey heads and put them together?? Do you mind if I use that idea? My children love the playhouse disney characters too and I have several pictures to scrap.

It's been mostly behaving although I still have moments where I can't get in. But then I just try, try again. I'm having such a great time with all these SM challenges!!!

Thank goodness mine are older (although I miss the lovin' from when they were younger). But I could never have looked them dead in the eye when they were younger and said "Today is National Scrapbooking Day and I'm going to be scrapping all day. You are to take care of yourselves and not bother me. Remember, I had an heir and a spare for a reason and one of you can die."

Okay, so here's my LO for Britt's Magical Memories challenge. I tried to make it clickable for credits but the link on the page (not using the "last up" link) doesn't seem to go to the right place. At least when I click it it goes to a page not found error. Britt... help?

In the meantime, everything came from Britt's Lil Brudder kit except for the title words and the magical moments stamp which came from her Mouse in the House kit.

Of course, you can use the idea! BTW, My mickey head isn't perfect circles. The ears looked funny as circles, so they are somewhat oblong.

I did most of my hanging out today at Digitals and SM. I attended 5 chats at Digitals today and won 5 prizes. 4 are $5.00 GCs to different stores and my big win was a copy of ACDSee Photo Manager!! So very excited about that! Digitals is having festivities til the 10th, so it's not so crazy there today, except in chat. There is a chat tomorrow giving away another 2 copies of ACDSee if anyone is interested. It's at 9est I think, but I might be wrong on the time.

At SM I did a bunch of hunts and challenges and a lot of fun! I didn't do any shopping today, but I did last night and got a couple things at SM, but I didn't get the Mother Nature kit for free like I was supposed to. Not sure why.

I did the same thing with the kit on SM. I didn't realize I was supposed to add it to my cart, but I emailed them and they sent me a code to get it. As long as you did a $10 order, you should be able to just email them and they'll make it right. I'm waiting until tomorrow or the next day to download mine since they are so busy today!

That's good to know. Paypal says the payment should clear by the 7th so maybe I'm in luck.

I got a few more done last night in response to SM challenges. I really had a great time hanging out over there yesterday. I'm having withdrawals this morning becuase there's no new challenges or contests or searches or anything

Anyway, here's one done in response to the black and white challenge. I had a hard time with this one becuase first it was hard to find the right pictures that would look good in b&w. Then, I just didn't know what to do on the page. But here it is done enough that I figured I'd share it here.

Here's one that was done in response to part 2 of the SM 1,2,3 Scrap challenge.

Credits: Andilynn's Oh My Stars template. I don't remember where the black Mickey ribbon came from -- I got it back in the days when I didn't keep track of where I got things. Sorry.

Did this one for Brittney's speed scrap challenge. That was a lot of fun. Every 10 minutes she'd give us another requirement. I love challenges!

Credits: Paper behind the picture, green horizontal ribbon, journaling paper, star, leaves, ribbon with bow, and staple all from Britt-ish Designs Lil Brudder. Background paper from CD-Oh Boy! (at least that's the name on the file), Verticle paper strips from Klewis flutterfreebie and Klewis breatheaddon. Title from Hypermommy's Somewhere Beyond the Sea. I think that's all... I hope so

Finally (I know you're probably tired of hearing from me but I do so love sharing my "babies"), here's one I did this morning. Not in response to any challenge or anything (oooh, the withdrawal!)
