WOW Melissa! Wonderful work! I'm always in awe of your composition and have learned so much from you. How do you do your shadows? Do you use the preset shadows or do you create your own layers with blur? I'd love for you to do a tutorial -- or just some advice on how to do shadows because yours are so realistic and amazing. What degree do you use on the shadows? Do you use the same one all the time or do you mix it up?

Anyway, thanks for sharing all your layouts. They are beautiful!

Thank you both!!! There really isn't one formula I use. I use the drop shadow option then just play around the settings until I get something I like. I change the opacity, size, distance, and even the angle. I know Denise wrote a pretty good tutorial for a Saturday Special challenge at ScrapMatters a while back. I'll have to see if I can find it.

Huge Congratulations! to Melissa and Christy for making the SM creative team. That is SO COOL! I can't wait to see what y'all come up with!

The heart was from some unlabelled kit on my computer (oops!) and the stitches are from a 2peas kit called Back to School, it was the freebie kit for Sept 07.
