My digital camera takes very good pictures, but the zoom is non-existant. My first middle of the road digital camera. Is there a photo program I could use to zoom in on my pictures, and they would stay that way? I use Microsoft's Picture-It to change the brightness and crop. But apparently the zoom feature is only to see what I'm doing. I want to zoom in and have the picture stay zoomed in. Any help, or is it time to upgrade to a better camera?

I use picture-it, you can crop or cut out just a small part of your picture. Use the zoom to identify the portion of the picture you want and cut out just that portion.

I've got a pretty old version and the advantage to using crop is you can specify the size proportions but the cutout function doesn't offer that.

I use the crop janette, but I don't get the close-up that I want.

Oh dear, what is cut out? I have a problem that I just go to town to figure out how a program works. I never look at instructions unless I'm stuck.

Thanks jannette, I will go over the program and see all that I don't know.

If you want to enlarge something I've just used the make a collage use a blank and put the picture in and make it the size I want.

What version do you have? There are proably different options.

Mine's 1999 so might not be too much different. Nothing like using the lastest software ;)
