OK, call me crazy, but my Christmas pictures made (by me) at my house and my mom's had "orbs" in them. It is no secret that my mother's house is haunted, but I had never photographed anything that showed up - and certainly not at my own house! I have friends with digital cameras and their's don't do this. Is it just my camera, or did we just have lots of "visitors" on Christmas day?

Hmmm, interesting! I'm thinking you probably had a few extra family members over during your holiday gathering! I've really been wondering about a few pictures I have that I took about 4 years ago when my dd was almost 1. It was on our first mother's day, and she's sitting there holding my gift. Over her head is an arch of about 4 orbs or so. At the time, I was not using a digital camera. I rarely have photos with orbs in them, yet I find it very interesting! :scratchin

Cool, cool, cool!

All you orb'd picture people - POST 'EM!!! I'd love to see them...

I *look* through my pics, looking for orbs (I never find any.... :confused3 )

OMG ~ So funny you posted this!

My brother's wedding was Saturday...all of the pictures of my brother have "orbs" floating around him. But the rest of the pictures don't have any....only the pictures he's in.

Guess he had a few more "Guests" than expected. :lmao:

Flash pictures do this sometimes. It is dust in the air.

I have pics-- unfortunately they were pre digitial camera (no scanner)-- of ds playing football. Every pic I have has orbs on either side of him. No other photo's on that roll do. Also, they were different days, games and they are all like that.

I've really wanted to take them to Lily Dale. Which is a community about 20 minutes from my house that is nationally known for being "spiritual". It's gated-- and it's full of spiritual places, as well as many, many mediums living there. I still might dig them out and take them, to get their impression of them.

Ummm....I don't think it was dust. There were some pretty large orbs.

DH would kill me if he knew I posted this

Nah...no visitors. My stepdaughter is BIG into photographing ghosts and getting sound recordings. We read detailed info (somewhere here on the internet) as to why orbs showed up in pics. Not being a photo expert myself, it made little sense to me, but it was crystal clear that orbs are definitely NOT "visitors" from the other side. One ghost site will take any pic of a ghost you "think" you've captured on film, however, they REFUSE pics of orbs and state they're NOT beings that have crossed over.

My stepdaughter has some amazing pics that do appear to be real ghosts. Her sound recordings are eerie and make me wonder about what we've traditionally been taught. Some of the sounds were recorded in my house during the Christmas Holidays! :scared: My house, by the way, was built in 1922. No telling what all has happened here.

Your "orbs" are dust on your digital camera's lens. It is an annoyance that has ruined several of my flash pictures. I think that you'll find that if you clean your lens, the orbs will disappear.

Cool pic though... :thumbsup2

orbs are in alot of my pictures. I guess I'm just good at getting pictures of them. Most of the time its not really what it seems. They can be caused by electric activity. :)

I scared her in this one. lol, but there are ALOT of orbs.

Yes, the pictures above are the orbs that I was talking about that are caused by dust.
