I have a digital camera and my video camera also has a media card in it. I plan on taking only my video camera cause the digital camera has been giving me problems. The down side of this is, the card from my digital camera will not fit in my video camera.

My question is, I know I am going to fill up my media card full of pictures the first day at WDW, is there somewhere close {for a reasonable price} that I can have pictures made of the pics that I want or put the pics on a disc?

I sure wish I had one of those Easy Share Kodak cameras that go on a printer dock. That way at the end of the day I could print out the pics I want back in my room.

Just inside MK on the right near Tony's is the Kodak Emporium....I am sure that they would probablly have these services, but I am not 100% positive. Also you would have to leave your card for a while at least. What we did was, we got a 2nd card at BJ's for a reasonable price. I think we took 200 pics in total, and also brought along our lap top, and down loaded pics. But the 2 cards would have been fine.

Good Luck.:D

My gut says printing pics at WDW will be very expensive. I would invest in some extra memory cards (check ebay as they are very affordable...usually about 1/2 the cost you will pay retail). Other option: take or borrow a friend's laptop and download your pics with the assistance of a $10 memory card reader.

Upside of this route is you get to keep all of the pics you take. I know, in my experience, I tend to take a lot of garbage pics but when I look back on them, I am gald I didn't delete them.

Also at the photo kiosk just inside of Epcot...my Sis did it in January. It was under $20 for a 128mb card dump which really isn't horrible, but it could be better. We dropped it off at 10 and it was ready by 5 (because they don't do it on site). Disney does carry memory cards but they are twice the price, and for my sis (who has an Olympus D565), they carried her camera but not the XD card she needed. Go figure! I had a Kodak, and they had my cards, but I just made sure I had plenty of cards with me. There have been several horror stories of people doing the card dump and getting home only to find that the disc was errored or worse, empty, and they had lost all their pics. Better safe than sorry!

Hope you have a wonderful time!

Walgreens did it. We stayed offsite and there was one next to our motel on 192.

I think any place that has 1 hour photo usually does digital too.

The digital prints were 29 cents each, which is what we pay at home.

Thanks for all the advice!! :wave2:

I did some looking on the internet and found a photo printer that will print 4X6 pictures without a computer right from my memory card. And the best part , it uses the same ink that goes in the "BIG" printer that I already have. Since we are driving to WDW, taking this photo printer is no problem {we have a mini van}. I found it at a good price on Ebay. The gentleman that I bought it off of {Buy It Now}, said he would get it out first thing this morning so I could have it in time for my trip, I emailed him what I wanted it for, {already received the Shipment Notification # early this morning}

I would love to have a laptop, but don't. :( The only person that I know who has a laptop is my cousin, but she would never let me borrow it. She's the type that wouldn't let anyone borrow a cup of sugar in fear she would never see her cup again. She's funny that way.

One other idea re: a laptop is to check if anyone around you rents them.

Aside from allowing you to download pics (and burn them to a disk before you return it, of course) the other advantage is most hotels offer internet access (at least dial up for a small or no charge) which could come in handy when checking weather, getting directions, and just giving the kids something to do. To boot, most have dvd drives which could entertain the kids during the drive down.

Take care,

Mark
