I hope I'm posting this on the right board. I received a Kodak EasyShare camera for Christmas. My battery is already showing that it is low. Does these cameras come where you can recharge them or am I going to have to buy batteries continously? This was a gift from my parents so I wasn't able to pick it out.

my daughter has a 4 mp easy share and a set of lithium batteries lasts her longer than a 2 week vacation probably 300-500+ pics( she has never taken more pictures than that on vacation but has some charge left on them)...rechargables naturally will last longer since you can charge them after you use the camera each time. normal non lithium batteries last a short time ( i would guess a couple hundred pics top, less if you use flash and review the pics etc)

i love my easyshare...i bought a camera dock which charges the battery. i travel with it, and charge the batteries at night when we get back to the hotel. i carry a few spare batteries with me as well, but have only needed to use them once or twice. good luck - you'll really like your easy share! :)

I love my old Kodak Easy Share, The batteries last about 800 pics if you use the viewfinder and about 400 pics using the LCD. They are also quick in recharging
