digital camcorder question

we are looking at getting a digital camcorder and were thinking of the Sony IP5. Does anybody have any experience with that model or do you have any recommendations of other models?

I don't have a digital camcorder so I can't help, except to give this a bump

I've read several reviews on the IP5 which were not really favorable. Apparently there are enough issues with the microMV format that the reviewers didn't feel the IP5 was worth the money. Do a search on digital camcorder reviews and see what I've read.
