Patty, we don't own one, but my husband has read very favorable reviews in the photo magazines. A friend had one at a party this summer. My husband & I were quite impressed - it was compact & relatively lightweight. The image quality is excellent. This is an especially good value for someone who already has Nikon lenses that can be interchanged with the D70. Any lens that works on your N65 should work on the D70. The 18-70mm Nikkor lens is offered as a kit with the D70 & is a great value when purchased together.

Now I have to decide if I want to spend another $1000 on another camera - I am thinking I should hit dh up for christmas (or wait til AFTER he buys the snowmobile he is thinking about buying )
