Chuck E Cheese has great pizza, a fantastic salad bar, and decent beers.
I’ve been trained by popular snooty culture to look down my nose at the place but.. Chuck, I just can’t stop loving you!

What are your difficult truths?

I normally cook from scratch, and my family loves my cooking. I hit the wall a couple of nights ago and just poured a jar of brown gravy into a disposable aluminum pan, topped with frozen tator tots and shredded mozzarella, baked for 1/2 hour. I thought my kids would be horrified, they loved it.

Does this have to be food-related? If not, I'll say what we're all thinking: Network TV has become a wasteland. You really do need to pay for premium cable or streaming services to have anything worth watching. And they know they've got us where they want us and take full advantage. Great content on HBO, Netflix, Prime and Apple+ but 8-episode "seasons" and waits for years between seasons is an outrage!! :furious:

I concur 🙂👍🏼

I am a graduate of Univ. of Washington and have been a loyal Husky fan for over 40 years. I have been reduced to watching and actually rooting for the Washington State Cougars in the Sun Bowl. The horror.

HAHAHA. Another Husky graduate and fan here. I get it. Thanks for the laugh this morning :)

I love Chipotle. I don't care about the history of norovirus and health code violations or that sometimes the food is barely warm and could be hazardous. I gladly wait in a mile long line that barely moves and I know I am taking a risk eating there, but I don't care. Life is too short.

There are only a few things that name brand is preferred but most other things generic or store brand is just fine. In enough cases the item is manufactured even in the same facility but with different packaging.
In my working years, I had a client, small food manufacturing company, managed their 401(k) plan. They made marshmallows. The owner said they make 100% of all marshmallows made in the US, except Kraft. Same recipe, different bags.

That's actually kinda cool to know especially that they make almost exclusively all the ones out there.
