I am interested in opinions of renting a double stroller (the front back kind) from ABBF.

Has anyone ever done this? What were your opinions of the stoller?

We will be traveling with a 1 yoa and a 4 yoa. My 4yoa is pretty pettite, but tall.

Also, we are staying at Marriott's Grande Vista and I can't find anyone who can tell me what their cribs and bedding are like. We stayed at Vistana one year and I was not impressed with their set up at all.

Do you think I am better off just renting one from ABBF or going with the unknown at MGV (and trust that they will have a good set up just b/c they are a Marriott)?

Thanks,
Melissa

We have rented from them on many occasions (including our upcoming trip in Feb!)

All of there things are VERY clean and well kept. I highly recomend them!

May I suggest renting the Sit N Stand stroller. We have the front and back and it is tight fight for the 4 YO, but the sit and stand has plenty of leg room in the back.

We first rented the Sit N stand from them a couple of trips back, and decided to buy one for home!

Thanks for the info!

My concern about the sit and stand is what do I do if my 4yoa wants to take a little nap while we are at the park?

Or do you think that we would be better off renting 2 strollers? One for the 4yoa and one for the 1 yoa

Why does something so little have to be such a big decision!

I have toiled over the stroller choices for our upcoming trip with a 4 1/2, 3 and 9 month old.

We have opted to bring our Sit N Stand with us... 9 mo can ride in front, while the older two switch off... this will work for the airport... but for the parks, we need something more... so we are renting a single stroller from ABBF for the boy (9mo) and the 3 YO will have the front of the SitNStand and the oldest in the back.

When we were a family of 4... we bought two combi semi umbrella strollers. It worked wonderfully. Dad and ODD could hit Splash mountian while YDD and I would see Bear country jamboree, and the kids didnt have to walk much. Man to man converage so to speak. This may work for you. But again, the 4 1/2 YO is kinda old for this type of stroller.... our oldest wasnt very comfortable in it , she was 40 inches tall at the time.

But then again, we took a trip with THE BEAST (our Graco Duo front and back) and that worked too... yes it was a PITA to get on and off the trams and busses, but it was great to have it in the parks...

6 in one hand 1/2 dozen in the other.

But I can tell you ABBF does a great job with the cribs... the strollers are in great condition, and everything is clean.

Marriott does have a good rep, and I am sure if but chance the first crib they bring isnt up to par, the second one would be...

Not sure if I helped or hindered..... :wave2:

You definitely gave me some more things to think about. Thanks for all of your input. I really appreciate it!

I guess I could always go to Toys r Us and see how well Caroline (4yo) fits into the front back stroller

I calledand asked Marriott how old their cribs are and they told me that they were 6 years old...as old as the resort. I think I will be renting one from ABBF!
