Different plan for the same family

Hi all,

We are a family of 4 (DD5 and DD7). Through my travel agency, they have a promo that the QS is free with a moderate resort. I can also upgrade to TS for a fee.

Can I only upgrade for my wife and I?

I was thinking that, if I could, I would take the QS dining plan for the kids and TS for us. I would then pay for my daughters when we dine at a TS restaurant. Since my daughters are young, they don't eat much. They often share a kids meal when we eat out.

Thanks in advance for your input on my dilemma.

No. Everyone on your room reservation must be on the same plan. Also your daughters credits would be childrens credits for ts. You can't buy an adult meal with them.

No everyone on the reservation has to have the same plan.

the first time we had ddp(free with package)-we asked in ts restaurants for childrens meals as our children were classed as adults but still ate like kids!:)

some would accommodate us and others wouldn't.:confused3

the following year we wanted to change our ddp (free once more)to qsdp-unusual request i know-but it was going to cost us lots $$ so most credits simply went unused as we opted to have cs not ts most days. :goodvibes

op-work out where exactly you and your family want to eat and then see if the fee would be worthwhile-could be cheaper oop if only having a few ts meals? :)

I'd upgrade since the price difference on the kids is minimal and it seems you want to do TS anyway and already feel it's a value for the adults. Some of the locations have kids meals that are appropriate for adults but not many. You can sometimes use the extras to squeeze out an extra TS meal, possibly doing a signature one night as well.

i thought with moderates you get the regulard dining. is that not the case

We chose to stay at a mod over a value so we could get the regular dining plan- 1 CS, 1TS, and 1 snack per night- but the plans might be changing since they seem to every year! For us it made more sense to upgrade the room instead of upgrading the dining plan.

It is not the case with ALL promotions, there are different promotions. The offer to UK citizens has always been free QS at moderates. There was a PIN code a couple of years ago with free QS at moderates.
