Different Mickey waffles?

My DH swears that he read somewhere that the strawberry fruit topping for the Mickey waffles is different at the values than at the other resorts. He says it has no chunks of strawberry in it at the values but it DOES at the other hotels (I know it did at CBR, didnt eat them before that at AKL or CR so I dont remember).

Anybody know if this is true? It seems illogical to me for them to have different products for different hotels when Disney is so big on consistency and continuity and when it would be more cost effective to buy MORE of the same product in bulk... but hey, they economy is bad and maybe strawberries are expensive!

I've never seen strawberry topping on Mickey waffles anywhere.

Im shocked! Thats the best part! Its always a "side" option at the food courts that make Mickey waffles in the morning! Its called "fruit topping" but its really just mascerated strawberries... Its delicious! Skip the syrup and try it next time!

I stayed at Pop twice, Movies once, some years ago, the waffles with strawberries is a must during my stay at any resort always. I've always had it with some chunks of strawberry, never had the fruit topping served without the chunks of strawberry. Hope this helps

we had them at cape may it was a strawberry fruit topping near the kids area fresh strawberries.the kids got the small mickey ones and of course we ate these. (arn't we all kids ha ha ha)
at the yc galley fruit strawberries no juice loved it.
