This was our first Disney vacation off property. Over all we had a wonderful time. I think we would have a great time at the World even if we had to sleep in the car.

Day 1 Friday May 22 -
My children (17 and 14) and I left Atlanta around 6:00 am. I have to get an early start. We listened to our favorite park music to help pass the time. We arrived at Harbor Lake around 2:30 just in time for the sky to break open and pour. What a storm! We just unloaded our luggage and got on the elevator when the bottom fell out. My parents purchased this time share last summer so we were excited to see it. We were not dissipointed. It was beautiful. We stayed in the new building Sunken Treasure room # 3136 and lock off 3137. Every night we had a perfect view from our balcony of the fireworks at Sea World. This resort is great! My parents and husband arrived later that night. We ordered pizza and waited for the rain to stop. It didnt.

Day 2 Saturday May 23 -
Woke up early hoping to see the sun. We did for a few hours. Harbor Lake has its own putt putt course. We played a few rounds and played in the pool for a while watching the stome clouds slowly make their way over us. My older brother and his family checked in late in the afternoon. We planned a suprise birthday party for my daughter who is turning 18 in a few days. We met at her favorite, Bahamma Breeze. Got in again just in time for the flood to start. We had a great meal and took our time eating waiting for the rain to let up so we could make our way to Downtown Disney. We were in World of Disney when round 2 started. That place was packed with poncho wearing, hot, sticky, not smelling too good people. My parents were stuck in McDonalds. My mom says it was worse in there. After about 2 hours there was no letting up so we made a run for the car. I was wearing flip flops. There was so much water in the parking lot the water was way above my ankle. One of my flip flops came off and floated down the road. I had to chase it before it went down the drain. Again, we went to bed hoping the rain would let up.

Day 3 Sunday May 24-
My mom fixed a big breakfast for us and had a Sunday morning devotion since we didnt go to church. My younger brother arrived from south Florida just in time for breakfast. The guys had a 11:30 tee time some where so they headed off and I headed for the pool with my daughter, 2 neices (3 and 5) and sister in law. The pool was pretty crowded but its a huge complex so we were okay. The little girls enjoyed the slide and pirate ship. the guys got rained out of their back 9 so they joined us at the pool around 2:00. The sky was again turning black and ugly in the distance. We grilled out for supper. Harbor Lake has a beautiful grill and picnic area by the lake with swings and a big field fro the kids to run around in. Had a great supper and just hung out waiting for the storm. We played cards on the balcony and watched the fireworks at Sea World.
