Different arrival times

My husband and I and our grandaughter are on flying in early in the day and my grandaughters parents are flying in later that same night. We have two different rooms and my question is can my grandaughter (who is 18 yrs old) check in for her parents as she is registered with them in their room and receive their park passes and be allowed in that room even though her parents will not be there when we check in?

If she is listed on the reservation, she shouldn't have any trouble checking in. Some people say the lead guest must be the one to check in, but as long as someone is listed on the reservation and is 18 or older, they can check in .
