I'm a total early bird, desperate to get going at wdw..(definitely not at home:rotfl2:)

All family members not in total agreement, but eventually realise the positives of rd.:)

Our forthcoming vacation includes onsite and offsite.

Am I right in this thinking:
If we booked our faves for onsite days, would this allow for a couple of evenings with guaranteed rides? And obviously placate the lazy devils in my family.
But rd would still be necessary for offsite days?

Btw-we don't stay all day.
Plans are set for a few hours in the morning, early lunch-then see what the afternoon brings.

If we visited parks in the evening-would be a lazy daytime.:goodvibes

A few thoughts:
1. You may be able to make FP+ reservations for your entire time if your onsite stay is BEFORE the offsite portion of the stay, and you have MYW tickets for the entire time you will be in Orlando.
2. The general consensus is to pre- plan FP+ for the afternoon. That way you are guaranteed headliners in that park and won't have to lose out due to sleeping in. You can go to the same park or another park (with hoppers) at RD if you can motivate your troops.
3. Take a look at Mesaboy's FP+ priority list (in his sig on any of his posts) and Josh's FP+ touring strategies (www.easywdw.com) for suggestions on what rides need FP+.

Good luck!

Thanks very much for this.

We actually have our onsite stay first,
then we're offsite,
followed by another one night onsite,
back to offsite,
3 nights onsite,
offsite again,
then final night onsite!

Although this sounds like a lot of coming and going-we have offsite accommodation throughout-so it's the best of both worlds.:)

We will indeed have tickets for our whole vacation-we're from the UK and will have 21 day tix.

That would be super if we could book fp+ times for our whole stay.
Will investigate links.

I believe you'll enjoy your park time more if you stick to RD on off-site days.
