What is the difference?

And are they hard to get? Need to book day by day?

Thanks!

The Value rooms are smaller and have a lower occupancy. Value studios accommodate 4, 1BRs: 4, 2BRs: 8. They face the parking lot, the pool area and the Sunset Savanna.

The Standard View, Savanna View and Concierge rooms are larger than the Values and accommodate 4, 5 and 9 respectively. The non-Value 1BRs and 2BRs have a sleeper chair in the living area so that is why they accommodate an extra person. The Standard View rooms in Jambo House face the pool area. (The Standard View rooms in Kidani will have a view of a pool, garden or parking lot.)

AKV is so new we don't have a lot of info to judge how hard it will be to book any particular room type. There aren't many Value and Standard View rooms so I would imagine both types will go quickly for those looking to save points. I would expect the Value rooms in particular to be difficult to book because they are such a bargain for those who don't care about being in a smaller room and who don't need the sleeper chair.

ETA: There are 10 Standard View 2BR lockoffs and 10 Value 2BR lockoffs in Jambo House. Not all of them will be rented as 2BR villas -- some number of each type will be locked off to be rented as 1BRs and Studios. Bottom line: there won't be many of either type available.

For a complete breakdown of all of the rooms that will be available when Jambo House is completed, see TSMIII's chart in this post: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1634675

Thanks. So it looks like a value two-bedroom will be fine for a party of six, but hard to get...

I'll try for value, then standard and then OKW as a backup with the waitlist.

I believe all of the Standard View rooms at Jambo House are open now but the Value rooms do not open until Dec 1st. I'm anxious to hear some first-hand reports and see some photos from the first guests to stay in the Value rooms to hear what people think of the size of those rooms. I've seen some floor plans but they did not include furnishings so it was hard to tell how compact the rooms will feel.

Good luck! I hope everything works out for you!
