Difference between the "Bares" Ecentuals vs. Minerals

So I finally ordered some from QVC today of the Ecentuals...then saw a commercial on another channel for Minerals and then panicked b/c I couldn't remember what the DIS recommended. Looks like I ordered the makeup of choice on the DIS...the Bare Ecentuals from QVC today (the ladies were cracking me up with the eye shades....especially the "nut" one )

I'm just curious of what the difference between the two brands is?

I believe Bare Escentuals is the company as a whole and Bare Minerals are the face color products which are minerals within that company. Leslie Blodgett is over the whole shebang.

Hey, got a question!! I just caught them saying "Do you have the nuts on your eyes?" and them cracking up. She said she would explain the joke but I never saw it. Anyone care to fill me in?

And Buck is right. BE is the company, BM is the specific product.

I switched to Everydayminerals.com - thanks Buckalew! (I'm hooked since you told us about the free samples!) Just got a shipment in of two 2 oz. containers of foundation, two 2 oz. containers of blush, and one 2 oz. container of eyeshadow, and it cost me $30, including shipping. That would have cost me well over $100 had I ordered the same thing from Bare Minerals, PLUS Everyday Minerals offer so much more variety in shades and finish. They are my new obessession!
