Difference between Scooterbug "Resort ECV" and "Resort Plus ECV"?

I would say the main difference is the weight limit -- the Resort Plus has a higher weight limit. "Weight" includes not just the user but also the "stuff" you'll carry on the ECV with you (backpack, waterbottle, etc.).

From the pictures it appears the Resort Plus ECV is a 4-wheel while the Resort ECV is a 3-wheel model, though neither description actually calls that out.

Their website says seats may vary. Exact model may vary.
Yes thank you. I just was curious if anyone found that one ran better vs. another. If they are pretty much the same I'll just go with the less expensive one.

This is a screenshot of Scooterbug’s comparison page.
The ones labeled ‘Resort’ don’t come apart and would need to be transported on Disney transportation. It cut off the range, but all have a 19-20 mile range listed.
The biggest difference between the Resort and Resort Plus looks like the weight limit.
Resort Plus has a higher limit.

All other things being equal, 3-wheeled models are easier to maneuver than 4-wheeled ones. This is especially important in winding queues.
Some people claim a 4 wheeled scooter is less likely to tip over.

I don't recall a single post regarding any case of a scooter tipping over.

3 wheeled are much easier to maneuver.

The 3-wheel models in the picture above have smaller "anti-tip" wheels on either side of the single front wheel. Other scooters I've seen have anti-tip wheels in the front, but not as visible.

From Difference Between a Three-Wheeled Scooter and a Four-Wheeled Scooter:

"3-wheeled scooters make turns in far less space than a 4-wheeled scooter. Anti-tip wheels make 3 wheel scooter a safe and stable option in most scenarios.

A 4-wheeled scooter tends to be more stable and "surefooted" due to its wider wheel base. There is also more room for your feet, and they are more stable on inclines."

When I bought my personal scooter a few years ago, I asked the salesperson whether the 4-wheel would be a safer option for "tip-ability". She encouraged me to buy the 3 wheel (they had both). Since the 4-wheel cost $100 more, and I assumed she'd get a bigger commission, I've always felt very safe with the 3 wheel.

I saw someone almost tip a 3 wheel ECV a long time ago. He caught I with his leg on the tipping side, which prevented it from totally tipping.
But, he was going much too fast and made much too sharp of a turn.
If people are careful, either should be safe
