Obviously the price is much different.... What about the portions? Are they much smaller? We're kinda being crazy in our planning here-- we thought we were going to to in Dec and I had plenty of time to do ADRs, but we just had the thought of changing and going in November instead. Of course, at this point ADRs are more limited. We had LC for dinner last spring, and DH loved it-- wanted to do it again, but all I can get is lunch. Will he be disappointed??

Sorry I can't answer your specific question but I can say one difference I know of is the Prime Rib isn't offered at lunch, that is because it is still cooking.

I love their prime rib, so lunch is out for me.

Yeah, I see that the menu has less options, but I'm specifically wondering about the Filet Mignon, which is on both menus. Definitely our favorite! :cloud9: If there's a big difference in the lunch portion, I'm actually thinking about keeping the trip in December!!! (I know, maybe a little crazy... but DH LOVES that meal, I don't want him to get jipped!)

I haven't experienced for myself, but I haven't seen anyone reporting that the filet portion is smaller during lunch.

Hopefully someone that has had it during lunch will chime in.

I was just trying to figure this out too. The price for the filet at lunch is about $10 cheaper so I was wondering how much smaller it was. Anyone been at both that knows????

I saw no difference at all between lunch and dinner portions with anything we ordered during our last trip a few months ago. So go to lunch and enjoy!!!:goodvibes

Our last two trips we could only get lunch. DH gets the filet everytime and it appeared to be the same size.

I loved the Maple BBQ filet that they removed, so now I get the burger at lunch (which is actually really good).

We've done lunch three times and dinner twice. I have never noticed "smaller portions" at lunch over dinner. We have had five outstanding meals at LeCellier, along with great service.

When I was there in September, the lunch filet was smaller than the one at dinner time (I ordered it both at lunch and dinner). I remember thinking that the lunch size was much more manageable, whereas the dinner size was more than I could eat in one sitting. We had asked the server about the different and I think she said the lunch size was 5 ounces and the dinner one was 8 ounces.

That would be my thought as well...smaller portions would be A-OK, because neither one of us were able to finish our dinner portions the last time. We left STUFFED!

Hi we wanted to go to this restuarant when we were there 2 years ago (1st visit) and didnt know you needed to pre-book. We are going again in May 2011 for my 40th Birthday - I so so want to go there on my Birthday - does anyone know how far ahead you are allowed to book ADR at all.
Thanks for all info.

Thanks for all info.

You can book ADRs 180 days in advance. Or 180 + 10 days if you are staying at a Disney resort.

Disney seems to be tweaking the online reservation system at this time so some people have been able to book 190 days out, but there's no way of knowing if this will be permanent or if it is a glitch.

Great service? What did you expect. After all they are Canadians.:rotfl2:
