Difference between full size car and mid-size SUV?

Is there much difference in size between these two? I currently have the mid-size SUV reserved with Alamo. There will be five adults (three of which are 18-20 yrs old). There's only one time we will all be in the car together with all our luggage and that's going from WDW to MCO. The five of us will be driving together to and from the parks occasionally when we don't feel like taking Disney transportation.

Personally I think you will be more comfy in the SUV.

We had a mid-size SUV from Alamo, and it was a Toyota RAV4. It was OK for 2 adults and 2 children, but 5 adults would have been awfully tight, I think. You'd have to pack pretty light in order to fit everyone with your luggage.

If you pack anything like me. I can't get 5 adults and luggage in a fullsize car. Heck I'm not sure I could get 5 adults in full size car comfortably.
I've had mid size SUV from alamo 3 times.
I've had:
Chevy Equinox
Buick Renovous
Saturn Vue
All these I could get 5 adults and luggage in with min diffculty

It was advertised as a Chevrolet Equinox, however, we were told they don't have those anymore, nor did they have any Saturn Vues. (I'm not sure how true that was, but our only choices that day were either a Toyota Rav 4 or a Jeep Liberty.) We chose the Jeep Liberty. We were four adults. It was fine, but it might be tight for five.

Wouldn't suprise me but than they need to update website to reflect this as there is a lot less room in a jeep liberty, toyata rav 4 than the Chevy or Saturn plus I thought they did chevy brand which Toyaota and Jeep are not.

The last couple of times I rented from Alamo at MCO they seem to be switching to Toyota. Most of the full size SUV's are Toyota Highlanders, and the rest of their car classes seem to be following suit. I was there in May and August/September.
