Is there a difference between connecting rooms and adjoining rooms at POFQ?

Connecting has the lockoff door in between. Adjoining means next to each other, not necessarily with the door in between.

Just to further clarify - if you have connecting rooms, you do not need to go outside to get between the rooms. The door between them is an interior door.

All connecting rooms are also adjoining rooms, but all adjoining rooms are not necessarily connecting rooms.

Just wanted to but in here and mention, that I even had a resort CM tell me once that adjoining just means "near" the other room, it could even be "accross the hall".
