difference between 5d and 5c

I just got off the phone with my TA and she said I can get a 5C stateroom on the Dream for $20.00 more than my 5D. So can someone please tell me the difference? Thanks!

If it is like the 4C to 4D difference, I think it is only the deck you are on. I think I have a 4C booked on Deck 7 and a 4D would be the same room on deck 6 (same goes for higher - 4B = deck 8 and 4A = deck 9 or 10).

But I'm not sure if the 5's work the same way.

I booked a 5D. It's on deck 6. I'm pretty sure that 5Cs are on decks 7 and 8 (and 5Es are on deck 5). Other than that, the layout of the rooms are similar.

This is our first cruise, but from what I've read the higher decks are "more desirable" due to their proximity to the top deck amenities. However, from what I read, if you might be prone to motion sickness, lower decks are better because they don't sway as much.

I booked a 5C and they are on deck 7. Ours is 7650 which is an aft stateroom. I talked with someone that stayed in it a week ago. She said they felt no movement and heard nothing.

It's just deck location. I find it humorous that the cabins up higher are more expensive because we prefer lower due to the motion issues. The lower decks are closer to the restaurants as well. I'm in a 4D (deck 6) next cruise and am worried that it will be too high up for us.
