Hi to all! We are the third family joining Double Trouble. We can't wait to meet all of you. We are the Mom and son traveling with the other families. My son will be 8 next month.
Welcome!! Lots of 8 year olds in our group. They will be taking over the Lab. Added you guys to the FE and wrist band list. Also sent you a PM.
We are the second family that Double Trouble spoke of. We have never cruised Disney before, but have been told of the exciting opportunities to join like minded folks looking to make a great experience for their families.
Our family includes:
Mom & Dad plus DS(8) & DS(6)
Travelbee, True Romance, and others could you please help us as Double Trouble requested?
1. Please add us to the Roll Call
2. Please add us to the FE list
3. Please let us know how to sign up and pay for wristbands, etc.
4. Please let us know what else is available or additional info. Feel free to PM me for names.,etc.
Again, we are Newbees to the
Disney cruise experience

. We really look forward to learning more and eventually meeting up with some great people

Welcome!! You guys all sound like such a fun group. Added you to the FE and wrist band lists. Sent you a PM also.
Kristi...didn't you contact Tesoro and they told you $41 for the day for A?? Check out this email I just got from them...
Hello,
*
For sure we will be happy to receive you and your group, we have special rate for Day-pass, are included meals, drinks, all the activities and facilities. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The rate is $358mn pesos or like $29 dollars per person and the kids from 6 to 12 years old, pay just the half prize.
*
The best way to come to the hotel from the port its by Taxi, and its like 15 minutes from there. And the taxis cost is between 7 9 dollars.
Thanks Lisa for the information. I also just sent an email to see what price they give me. That would be awesome if it was just $29/adult and $15/kid for all inclusive. I have 2 kids under 6, so it looks like they are free.

This resort sounds like a deal. Maybe if we all go, we can get off the ship together and get taxis to follow each other over?
When I was in the taxis in Cozumel, I felt like I was in the Amazing Race. I told the kids to put their seatbelts on and hold on.
Just got back from a wonderful outing with Kristi and her family. First off, we weren't certain if the weather was going to be against us and rain as it has been doing for the past couple of days, but the weather was great. We met Kristi's family at a kid's science museum. We had an awesome time. The kids had a great time. My children just couldn't stop talking about how much they are going to have fun with Kristi's kids on the Mickey boat. Virdis and I are also looking forward to spending time with Kristi and her husband.
Thanks Kristi, Kevin, Isabelle, Danny and Brennan for a wonderful time.
Can't wait for the Mickey Boat. Now off to get girl scout cookieeeeees.
Ann-Marie, we had such a good time with you guys yesterday. So glad it worked out. Danny was saying how much fun Elijah was and Isabelle wants to show Amira all around the clubs. Our kids seem very much alike. Energetic boys and inquisitive girls. Even the husbands have their jobs in common. I owe you a FB message.
Gabriela, we thought of you yesterday and cannot wait to meet you and your family. I have a feeling we are going to have a loud table. Thanks in most part to our loud boys.
Kristie, you are awesome.

Thanks for putting this together.
No problem, I like organizing things. The last few weeks I feel like I have a full time job again. I have been so busy with Girl Scout cookies, baseball & swim team paperwork, FE's, bringing classroom work home to help the teachers, and planning Girl Scout meetings. I have a couple of hours of emails to return every night.

Okay experienced Disney cruisers!
I'm not new to cruising, but I want to be "in the know" to all the Disney jazz on board so my family can have the absolutely best time on the cruise in April in the Mexican Riviera!
- I have 2 young girls, 4 and 6 (birthday is during the cruise, will be 7), and a hubby. We all like to be informed and would love to engage with other cruisers.
- Now, I see the fish extenders, I know I'll make one...but what the heck will go in it and who puts it there?
- Any fellow parents going on our cruise?
I know I need pirate outfits. Check.
I see wristband chat going around, should I jump on that bus and what is it for? Just for fun? Help! I want to be in the thick of the fun!! We live in Southern Oregon, fyi.
Thanks!
Welcome MommaFox, you have come to the right place.

We have got you covered with information.
1) FE's--it sounds like you have seen what an FE looks like. We have an FE group, 30 cabins so far. You will get a list of all participants and cabin numbers, you get together little gifts either per person, or per cabin or however you want to do it. Then one day or night you will deliver all of your gifts to the other cabins. The other participants will do the same. So you will always been finding little gifts in your FE. The kids have a blast and love coming back to the cabin to find presents.
2) Wrist bands, I ordered lime green wrist bands for our group so we can easily identify our group in the port or around the ship. They are relatively cheap, approx. $1.50 per band. If you would like to be added to the list, just let me know. More information to come for everyone on how to pay.
3) Check out this awesome website that Connie (Travelbee) made for our group.
http://april-17-2011-mexicanriviera.weebly.com/ It has a roll-call, meet information, wrist band, lanyard information. If you want to have your picture added to the roll call, you can email Connie.
4) There are lots of parents and kids your daughters age on this cruise.
