Great thread! I'm a Weight Watchers leader and you all are very good advertisements! LOL! I thought I would just "weigh-in" on this subject and if any of you have questions I might know the answer.
First off, you don't need WW to lose weight. What you need is: knowledge of food so you make wise choices that don't leave you deprived, exercise that is enjoyable and not a chore, a support team, and accountabilty. Weight Watchers is just nice because it gives you all of those things in one place. For me it was the only thing that worked, accountability was my big problem and the big scale looming weekly was very helpful to my reaching my goal (which I've been at 3 years.) I've done both Core and Flex and both are great.
I'm going to Disney and a cruise this December and I have been trying to decide how to get back on course exercise-wise. Since I don't have pounds to lose, I might do the Disney Dollars for every mile I run. One Dollar for each mile! What do you think?
Also, any questions?
