trying to keep a food log - however I find Im eating wayyyy too much - and just marking what i ate onto the next day - not good idea huh?
instead Im going to try to keep a log of what I eat each day - adding fruits & vegs - if I go over Im starting fresh the next day

Wanted to add weights to my exercise routine but that hasnt happened. Instead of kicking myself over it - Im taking pleasure in the idea that instead of just walking my 14miles/week Ive increased it to 21miles/week

so when I step on that cruiseship in 10weeks I will at least know I am healther if not lighter in weight

And you're right...do NOT kick yourself over the laspes...that will only set you up for a bigger failure down the road.

Your walking regiment sounds really good! :) But yer've got to rein in the total calories you take in per each 24 hour period...and make sure they don't exceed the amount of calories you need to live for the corresponding 24 hour period.

You can do this! :) I take my calorie log with me everyday...so I can track what and when I consume anything.

Make sure you don't just 'add' fruits and veggies to a possibly already higher than required intake of daily calories. Focus on lean proteins, low carbs non starchy foods with fiber....and if you can..hit the weights...it will help yer!

When I kept a food log I didn't only write the food in after the fact. At the beginning of the day I filled out the food plan for the day, and did not stray from the plan. As usual Goofyposter is right. Adding weight training will help you lose fat quicker than any other exercise. Good luck.
