Diet advice?

I need some help badly! I lost 50 pounds two years ago and over the last two months I've slowly started sliding back up the scale again!! I can't seen to remember what I need to do. I'm afraid when I eat too much and then that I'm not eating enough!
What is your best piece of advice? I feel so out of control and I am scared of going back to where I was.
Is there a WISH journal that has been especially inspirational to you? Any help you all can send my way would be appreciated.
 
First, Congratulations on losing 50lbs. Secondly, Congratulations on noticing the upslide and wanting to stop it.

If you are worried about eating too little or too much then I would suggest calorie counting, then you would know. This works the best for me, along with exercise. It also allows me to have what I want as long as it is within the calorie limit, so no off limit foods. Sparkspeople.com is a good website that has trackers for you and it is free. There is also a DIS thread over there so you will know some of the people.
 
cut your sugar. No sugar in the first 4 ingredients. Also I east small meals (6 times per day - more protein less carbs.)
 
I agree with both, cut the sugar (especially high fructose corn syrup) and count your calories. Another helpful tip is, eat your protein first during your meal, then your fruit/veggies and then the starch. It will help you feel full faster. Another thing to remember (especially for us over 40s) is that you have to up your fiber content in your foods to keep your middle down and flush water weight out.

Stick with it and you will keep on course. You have done so well to lose the 50 pounds :thumbsup2 and even better to see it coming back. :goodvibes
 

start watching your calorie intake and move it sister!! You got to move it to lose it- ha!! I have dieting again since memorial day. I have lost 23 pounds and several inches, also went down a size in clothes. I feel great now even though some of the new exercise classes I am taking are killing me. I am sore today from taking turbo kick last nite- ouch!!
If you tried hard enough you will see results- so get to it!!
