There are hundreds of pages about this on the DisABILITIES forum.

True. But Disneyland is doing in-person interviews so it is different than WDW. Any information about Disneyland DAS will be greatly appreciated.
People are discussing both there, but there don't seem to be reports this week yet.

ETA - it took a few weeks to get anyone who actually registered with the new system for WDW. Most people registered before the change, so you sort of have to wait it out until those people (who are the ones more likely to report back anyway) expire and need to register again.

Here now…just know that the lines midday have been horrendous…kiosk is right where I suspected…first little building as you enter through Harbor security.

My DAS is good through tomorrow and I’m not going to attempt to reapply for Saturday, my last day. I figure by December when I return, things should have settled down a bit. Good luck! I will be following this post closely to see how it’s going. Those WDW folks are all over the place with their posts…JMHO.

I'm interested in the experience as well, we inquired and were granted access in May, and it was so helpful. The cast member warned us that it would change with the new system, but she didn't state how it would.
Prior to inquiring about DAS, we were told to just use the exit for certain rides that weren't ADA compliant, but the circumstances changed for my family and our full day visit in May, we were allowed to use DAS.

Thank you for this report -- I read this as the lines to apply in-person, is that correct?

Line not bad at opening today…gonna guess maybe 20 people. Still haven’t been able to find out what time they open, security didn’t have a clue as it’s not their domain. Coming back at. 12:30 for my nap, it looked like there were TWO buildings open with a line in the queue about 50-60 people long. Personally, I would try to do it online before you get here. I don’t like giving up my park time.

BTW-the whole resort is SOLD OUT of the Anxiety plushie from IO2. LOL. The sales lady and I agreed—that should tell you something!

I saw that plushie a couple of weeks ago. First, it was far from plush. Second, it seemed poorly made. I was trying to decide between the "non plush" and the clip and decided that neither was worth the price.

I've also been waiting for some DLR-specific reports.... As much as we all want to pretend, even if the exact same policy is in place on each coast, WDW and DLR don't necessarily function the same. Because of that, I'm never 100% willing to accept WDW reports as what to expect at DLR.

Worse comes to worst, I'll be there next week and report on what I discover.

Talked to CM there this evening…kiosks open at 8 in morning. She said some people were waiting 90 minutes in line. She highly recommended going online prior to visit. Just FYI.
Online only applies to neuro-divergent needs, right?

Oh goodness! Totally didn't realize that! When I read the new page on the DLR website, I thought they said that one was for neuro-divergent needs only! Bummer because I'm only 1.5 days away.

Just got back from park. Lines upon arrival at around 9:15 had about 75-100 people. Just left at 12:15, about the same amount of people in line. Mind you, there is NO SHADE in that area except for a few of those random umbrellas they set up. It’s about 85 degrees right now so plan accordingly for an hour wait.😞
