Did You Watch Fire Country?

I have! I really like this show so far.
Me too!!!

Sooo just as we predicted, she wants to be a firefighter! I'm not surprised that his dad is the one that told him to stay far away, so it looks like when the truth comes out about his daughter's heart being broken before she died....well then dad won't be treating Jake like a replacement son anymore!!

I have a prediction. Gabriella becomes a firefighter but gets trapped in a fire and Bode and Jake will have to rescue her together. Thus she will have to decide who she likes more after. 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

I've been watching it. I just can't stop thinking that he belongs on Seal Team. I see him more of a military guy than a convict.

Another character that I can't stop thinking of his past character is Bode's dad. He was on The Closer and Major Crimes as a killer. Every time I see him, I think of his past character.

I agree about Seal Team being more grittier now that it's moved to Paramount. I'm glad it did in a way, I like the new style. I subscribed to Paramount+ just for this show and old Survivor episodes.

It's a more...strong? aggresive? i don't want to say realistic, but maybe?...since the move to streaming. DH says the language is closer to how guys talk when in groups than it was before. :confused3
There's a lot of profanity when it moved over but that was very expected. Lot of people betting how long into the first episode we'd get the big drop. It's more I don't want to say depressing but I think the move allowed them to branch out and dive into things so much more than they could on network tv. I totally get the PP's complaint about moving to a streaming service. The principle is the same even though we can watch it as we happen to have Paramount+ because we've had CBS All Access for several years when my husband wanted to watch Star Trek shows.

I'm still very annoyed they took the series to a paid streaming service. Maybe one day I'll pay month of it and catch up. But for now, Seal team ended when it left network TV.
Seal Team season 5 (the first season to be on Paramount+) is available at JoCo library system and Mid-Continent library system oddly KC library system doesn't have it. Just passing that along :)

Prior seasons are also available at both JoCo and Mid-Continent. Of course these do require DVD players. I feel ancient for still having one

First episode I was skeptical how it would do, took me a bit to get that second episode but I actually really do like it now. I feel each episode is pulling more and more out of stories and lives without dragging things down too much. I'm so interested in more of how Bode got to be this Bode we see on screen now and I feel for how that guilt and owing others that is portrayed. In that Max does a good job getting that across.

It doesn't feel like another drama series to me like I had initially expected from 9-1-1 or the travesty that is Grey's Anatomy these days. It was given a full season order but making it past this first (or if granted a second the second season) may just depend on what other shows are expected in the future and present ones doing. You can tell this is Max's baby (being one of the executor producers and one of the creator of the shows) and I hope it can succeed.

I wonder if Bode will get Rebecca pregnant and then eventually date Gabriella next season (I think she and Jake will break up). They date, become close, and then Rebecca returns with a baby surprising them both in next season’s finale. That’s my crazy prediction.

Really like it.
Haven't watched last night's episode yet.....but will later today.

I like Max......back to Bates Hotel and Seal Team.

I only caught part of an early episode, but forgot it was on. I really liked it what I saw. In college I worked with woodland fire fighters, and trained for search and rescue with an inmate crew, so it was nice to see this side represented. Guess I’ll have to check out Paramount+.
