Not yet. My son has the day off of school so I'm waiting for him to wake up so I don't have to take my preschooler with me. Around here, the only time there are lines is before 8am and after 6pm so I prefer to go during the day.

I mailed in my vote last week. That was the first time I've done that. As easy as it was, am thinking this is how I'll probably vote in the future. Then again voting in person, in the past has not been a hassle for me either.

Well I am glad there is an "other". Honestly I dont know what to do yet. I will call dh who is on the west coast later.

We are saving every ounce of gas we can. That is half a tank in dh van since the hurricane. Our voting place is in another town, so even if we go it will be 2 of the college ds and myself.

I hate to think that right now voting is a luxury that I might not want to use the gas on etc.

Voted early ten days ago. I was pleased to see all the polling places I passed very busy. If youi don't vote, you can't complain!

I voted about an hour ago ( 9am EST ). A little later than I wanted to but we slept in because the kids had a teacher work day. Pleasantly surprised to walk right up and vote without a wait!

I don't know where you are, but I thought there were other options for those that couldn't get to the polls because of the hurricane? I know I read that there was an option to email or fax in your vote. Can you search to see if that is an option for your area?
