Did you see this?

Number one, eww!

Number two, considering the fact that Britney elected to have a scheduled C-section because she didn't want to go through the pain of childbirth, shouldn't the sculpture depict her in stirrups with a knife cutting into her belly? :rolleyes2

Doesn't look like giving birth to me...looks more like how she got pregnant in the first place. Totally distasteful sculpture.

Hysterical!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sculpture is not only pathetic but extremely nauseating! And, I agree w/the poster who said this isn't an accurate depiction of a C-Section!!!!!!

Wow, I had no idea that a bear skin rug was a requirement for giving birth. Are those given out before or after the epidural?

You didnt get a bear-skin rug, during your birth?!?!? What kind of hospital did you deliver in?!!!?!? Must have been rather...primitive, to say the least.

Yeah - bearskin rug, on her knees, bootie in the air. This pretty much could be a sculpture of *me*, during birth. :rolleyes2

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I thought it was beautiful- and that had a LOT to do with the fact that it really has nothing to do with Britney- it's just her likeness/image. It's not really "based on a true story" (unless this really is the conception art :lmao: ).

The artist just used her as a model- but did so using photos of her- she didn't even know about it.

Ok. So, I like it.

All I can say is EWWWWWW! What's next a sculpture of her with Sean Preston on her lap behind the wheel of her car...

How funny, but how true. :lmao:

When my son was born almost 15 years ago, that wasn't a common birthing position. Did she simply snap the baby back to the doc like a football? I'm confused.

4, 71, 28, Hike!

Ya know, thinking abit more about it. I bet the artist just did a sculpture of a young woman giving birth and then claimed it was Britney afterward for the extra publicity for his cause.

that is just obscene. I really feel bad for that child now (as if I didn't before). It's not even an accurate portrayal of her birth.

No- research the artist. This is kinda his thing.

I've heard of the "squatting" position to deliver, but rump in the air....no, conception mode I'd say! :teeth:
