did you lose power

well after 6days without power i'm back with the living. that was **** no heat except for fireplace ,no water,no disboards.How did everyone else cope ,we ended up buying a generator so we wouldnt lose our food.

We only lost power for like 15 minutes one night. The bad part of that is that I am on dialysis, which I do at home, and I was on the cycler when the power went out. It was scary, but thankfully, short-lived.

Does your electric company know this? If you have medically necessary equipment that is powered by electricity they put you on the emergency list so repairs in your neighborhood are a priority.

I can't remember the last time we lost power other then for a few seconds, just enough to have to reset all the dang clocks .

I lost power for about 7 hours last weekend. Very quickly my house temps dropped to about 57 degrees. Thank God it came back on--it was really uncomfortable. I really don't know how people lasted for days. I was already planning which hotel I was going to go stay at...
