Did you like the Smurfs?

I used to love the Smurfs. I remember getting up at like 7am on Saturdays and watching them. Ah, the good 'ol days.

Are We There Yet? Are We There Yet? Are We There Yet?

I always ask, "are we there yet, Papa Smurf?" or if my kids ask are we there yet, I immediately think of that episode and reply, "not much further now!"

I used to love the Smurfs. I still watch it on Boomerang from time to time. I had the Atari game and loved it too. I also remember the Smurf tunnel ride at Kings Island. I LOVED that ride. I think I was 7 when I went and when I went back in my late teens it was something else. I was so upset. I saw a trailer of the movie, but not sure I'm going to like it. It just doesn't LOOK right. I miss the look of my old favorite cartoons like the snorks and the smurfs.

I love the Smurfs. Whenever I'm at my fiance's house, I watch the Smurfs - along w/the Snorks - on Boomerang. Don't really know about the CGI movie though. They shouldn't mess with our childhood.
