This game is the same as the other Did you know thread, except all facts have to be disney related. You can say something about the parks, movies, songs, anything having to do with disney!!!

I'll start. :)

DYK that the in the walt and mickey statue in WDW, Walt is pointing in the direction of disneyland?

No, I didn't!

DYK that the circle by Soarin' with all of the inventions and their inventor's name is the center of WDW?

No
Did you know that in many character costumes, they see through the neck?

Nope. *Andrew will now hi-jack this thread with the 34820482309482304 different trivia facts that he knows.*

Okay. Did you know that the Walter E. Disney and Roger Broggie trains in Magic Kingdom are one serial number apart from eachother?

:rotfl:

Actually, I didn't know that.

Did you know that they painted the Tower of Terror the color they did so that if you looked at Morroco (or maybe it was Mexico) from across the World Showcase lagoo, it would blend in.

(If only they did that with the Swan and Dolphin.)

Nope. It would be nice if the Swan and Dolphin were different colors. But I think Disney doesn't have any control over that.

So. Did you know that the Imagineers almost scrapped the idea of having Soarin' because they couldn't figure out a way to make the riders experiance the "hang glider" feel?

nope, I didn't know that.
did you know that in disneyland, walt disney had an apartment in the park and they now leave a lamp on in the window of the apartment and it is never turned off?

Yes.

Did you know that Soarin' was Imagineered with an Erector Set?

Yupp :) (I feel smart!)

Did you know that on the Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, there is a special button that is rumored to exist. This button, known as the boost button, is pressed whenever Aerosmith members ride on RnR. The boost button supposedly makes the cars go faster than the normal 60 mph.

Yes.

Did you know that the 13 lanterns on the liberty tree in WDW's Liberty Square represent the 13 colonies?

I didn't even know that there were 13 lanterns to begin with. :guilty:

So. Did you know that the Sorcerer Mickey Hat in MGM can hold 444,744 gallons of water?

Nope.

DYK that Snow White and the 7 Drawfs won An Emmy and got 7 lil emmy's that represented each drawf?

Yes!

DYK that the POTC ride is haunted by a ghost named George? He actually helped build the ride and died on the job.

yes.
dyk [and ive done this before and it worked] that if your on the ride and chant george isnt real hell get mad or somehting and stop the ride?
thats happened to me.
it was funny

yep :) maybe that's why we got stuck in the scene i hate in PotC...

DYK that the official colours of WDW are Lavender, Mint Green, Lagoon Blue and Pumpkin Orange?

(plus about the center of WDW, it's actually behind the fountain of nations)

Nope. Ironically, I like those colors.

Okay. Did you know that when the Tower of Terror was being built, it was struck by lightening?

i knew that :)

DYK every car in TT has a computer on board that generates 3 times more power then launching the space shuttle!! (something like that anyway)

yes
Did you know that there used to be a third WDW water park called River Country?
