Did you hear what Bob Costas said last night during the opening ceremony?

My sister and I commented thru the whole show how rude Bob's comments were!! If he's reading off a card, facts about an athlete he does OK but if he has to come up with comments off the top of his head as he did during the opening ceremonies, I think he's horrible!

I totally agree! I love watching the parade of nations and seeing the different countries' costumes, etc. A little culture wouldn't hurt some of these commentators, not just Katie and Bob! I couldn't believe how some of these commentators at different events are just dogging everyone BUT the USA and how everything turns political when USA doesn't win something. I'm just going to have to have the mute button on while watching some of the games!!

My personal Olympic event is sitting in my family room screaming at Costas to shut up. I think I've earned a Gold Medal for my performace for this year's Costas comments.

He's an idiot. He does this for every single sport that he comments on. He says things that are downright stupid, insulting, and have no relevance.

My fave was his nasty comment regarding the one Saudi nation who sent no women to the Olympics. So what??

I thought that Katie did her best to steer the comments in the right direction, but with Costas, it's a lost cause. She should have brought duct tape.

Bob Costa is arrogant fool. I complained to NBC about him two years ago during the Winter Olympics. He has a big mouth and 9 times out of 10, he should keep it shut.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why he is still eployed by them.

He must have something on somebody.

He has always been a complete moron....don't know how he gets by...he is so overly melodramatic at times and makes you want to just slap him....never did like him....
